 Broadcast Pix Granite 1000 HD System with FLUENT The Granite 1000 is a complete multi-definition live video production
system that creates compelling live video. It starts with a Granite
100, which includes a Granite Switcher and Granite Content Server. The
Granite 1000 then adds an innovative control panel which provides
complete tactile control, integrated access to video and files with
PixButtons that show file-names on the buttons, and it adds the ability
to switch cameras without the Content Server.
Great Switcher
Granite’s control panels provide instant access to all video and all
files, plus powerful combinations. File names appear on the buttons, and
on the multi-view along with thumbnails. Granite runs native HD, and
takes 11 SDI video inputs (22 optional) plus 7 channels of file inputs.
Video can be in any combination of 1080i, 720p and SD, in both
gen-locked and asynchronous. There are 3 keyers (6 optional) with DVEs.
Outputs include 6 HD/SD SDI (12 optional) and 2 DVI. Low delay makes it
exceptional for live events.
Granite Content Server with Fluent File-Based Workflow
Granite‘s content server completes the video production system. It runs
Broadcast Pix Fluent workflow software, the ultimate file-based
workflow software. It provides an HD clip store of up to 120 hours, 2 HD
animation players, 4 channel HD graphic system with Harris Inscriber
CG, powerful macros for file-based effects, and watch-folders that
streamline file import from your favorite editing and graphics systems.
The Fluent Multi-View is the most complete heads up display integrating
sources, keys, files, metadata and outputs. Control can be extended to
robotic cameras, audio mixers, servers and streamers.
 Broadcast Pix Slate Series Switchers
The Slate 100 starts with a great switcher, with the best upgrade path
in the industry. It has 4 to 8 live inputs, in HD, SD , analog or
hybrid, which are combined with 1 to 2 channels of clips and 5 channels
of graphics. Three to six keyers each include a DVE. There are many
ways to control it. You can use a mouse on the multi-view or SoftPanel,
a touch-screen, or the affordable Slate 100 optional control panel.
The Slate 100 can grow as your needs grow, from SD to HD, or add the 1
M/E panel to make it a Slate 1000, add more I/O, grow to 2M/E, and even
to 3Gb/s 1080p. Only Slate switchers include Fluent workflow software, which turns the
switcher into a powerful integrated production system. The Slate 100
has an up to 200 hour Fluent clip store with audio, 5 channels of Fluent
graphics and Harris Inscriber CG. Its Fluent watch folders streamline
the flow of clips and graphics from all over your studio. Its Fluent
multi-view provides unprecedented feedback including sources, tally,
keys, clips, graphics, file names, counters and clocks. Its Fluent
Macros combine switcher moves and specific file recalls. Plus, device
control options control cameras, audio mixers and servers.
