 Canon XF305 High Definition Camcorder
Canon continues to innovate and develop image acquisition products
for the most demanding professional. The Canon XF305 Professional
Camcorder features 50Mbps MPEG-2 4:2:2 recording to Compact Flash (CF)
cards for unsurpassed image quality and efficient, robust workflow at an
affordable price. It is ideally suited to match the requirements of
electronic newsgathering (ENG) crews, independent filmmakers,
documentary producers, event videographers and military agencies.
Utilizing file-based MPEG-2 compression with an MXF File Wrapper
ensures the widest compatibility with existing industry infrastructure,
metadata and non-linear editing (NLE) systems. And 4:2:2 color sampling
provides ultra-fine transitions in tone and color for maintaining the
highest quality image for use in advanced post production.
A newly developed Genuine Canon 18x HD L-Series lens along with three
Canon native 1920 x 1080 CMOS Image Sensors delivers pristine image
quality.
Incorporating industry-standard HD-SDI output, genlock input and

 Canon XF300 High Definition Camcorder
The XF300 Professional Camcorder is Canon's entry
into professional solid state video acquisition. The XF300
takes advantage of the latest HD technology, along with Canon's newly
developed MPEG-2 4:2:2 codec, to record Full HD video to affordable
Compact Flash cards.
It features three 1920 x 1080 CMOS sensors, multiple bit rates
(up to 50Mbps), variable resolution and frame rates, industry-standard
MXF file wrappers, a newly developed L-Series 18x zoom lens,
HDMI/Component/Composite outputs, and full image customization. It's
exceptional levels of image quality, ergonomics, and control, the XF300 make it the perfect tool for applications such as ENG, documentaries,
independent features, and event videography.
 Canon XF105 High Definition Camcorder
Compact in size, light weight and fully featured, the Canon XF105
Professional Camcorder can be tailored to fit a wide range of individual
needs. While sharing many of the capabilities of the Canon XF305 and
XF300 Professional Camcorders, including the Canon XF Codec and Compact
Flash (CF) recording, the XF105 offers some exciting new features of its
own.
The XF105 utilizes Canon's XF Codec – a file-based MPEG-2 compression
with an MXF File Wrapper that ensures the widest compatibility with
existing industry infrastructure, metadata and non-linear editing (NLE)
systems. The codec's 4:2:2 color sampling provides ultra-fine
transitions in tone and color for maintaining the highest image quality
needed for advanced post production processing.
The XF105's newly developed Genuine Canon 10x HD Video Lens along
with a Canon native 1920 x 1080 CMOS Image Sensor delivers exceptional
image quality. The XF105 also offers multiple recording bit rates,
resolutions and variable frame rates to expand creative flexibility,
allowing users to work in virtually any production environment.

 Canon XF100 High Definition Camcorder
Canon's XF100 HD Professional Camcorder is a compact, and fully featured professional camcorder that imports nearly all the features and
functionality of the 3-chip XF300 into a smaller, single sensor form
factor. It takes advantage of the latest HD technology along with Canon's
robust MPEG-2 4:2:2 codec. The XF100 records full HD video to Compact Flash cards, making it versatile and
powerful tool in your shooting arsenal. The newly developed Genuine Canon 10x HD video lens resolves
images onto a native 1920 x 1080 CMOS sensor, which are captured in
industry-standard MXF file wrappers, using your choice of bit rate (up to
50Mbps), resolution, and frame rate. Images can be fully customized.
The HDMI/Component/Composite outputs are the same as are on Canon's XF300.
Canon XA10 High Definition Camcorder
The new ultra compact XA10 Professional Camcorder is designed for
situations where mobility is critical while shooting. This feature-rich,
professional model records Full HD 1080p using an AVCHD codec. The
ultimate professional camcorder for run-and-gun shooting, the compact
XA10 includes a detachable handle for low-angle shooting and
portability. With the handle attached the XA10's functionality is
further enhanced with the addition of XLR inputs and an external
microphone holder.
A Genuine Canon 10x HD Video Lens delivers a wide, flexible zoom
range (35mm equivalent range 30.4mm-304mm) and smooth, pleasing
backgrounds thanks to an 8-blade iris. And an infrared mode allows users
to capture video in conditions with little or no ambient light, a
