Features
2 bubble spirit levels built in for accurate alignment the 030 hexagonal quick release plate system offers several advantages... the contact between the plate and the head is extremely solid, eliminating unwanted movement, and the camera can be oriented at any 60°-multiple angle to the head/tripod compact yet solidly-built three-way head allows versatile use with both photo and video cameras. The short pan bar helps keep movements smooth sturdy all-metal construction ergonomic and easy to use lightweight magnesium is used for die-cast parts. Magnesium has a density of 1.74g/cm3 as opposed to aluminum's 2.70g/cm3 - a 35% reduction. Despite its lower weight, magnesium is more rigid than aluminum, and has the same strength per volume.
