Description
 
The Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers-- New England Section (SMPTE-NE) will present a special "UPDATE ON ALL THINGS 3D" for the SMPTE community and our colleagues in SBE and AES. The meeting is FREE and open to all. The presentation will be chaired by Peter Fasciano, a noted expert on 3D Production and Imaging. Mr. Fasciano has presented on the 3D Technology subject before, discussing in detail the production sequence, work flow, lighting, staging and all the other related technical aspects that contribute to the creation of high-value 3D content.

As a special feature, past New England SMPTE Section Chairman Phil A. Ozek will offer his insights and recent experiences with 3D Motion Imaging technologies related to the Medical Community and its fascinating ongoing development under Dr. Lawrence F. Borges of The Massachusetts General Hospital, Neurosurgery Department.
